Program Requirements to Matriculate into UTMB

• Completion of baccalaureate degree from UTB/TSC
• Minimum overall undergraduate GPA of 3.25
• Minimum overall college science GPA of 3.25
• Minimum composite score of 24 on the MCAT
• Completion and submission of application to the Texas Medical/Dental Schools Application Service

Program Requirements

• During the academic school year students will attend classes at UTB/TSC majoring in biology or chemistry
• Academic advising and mentoring will be provided
• Students participate in a series of monthly distance learning seminars/lectures
• Exposure to the clinical practice of medicine and medical research during summers at UTMB
