I.C.S. Celebrates its History

Immaculate Conception School, which began in 1884 and has continued throughout the twentieth century and into the 21st century, has a proud and purposeful history. It is pictured at left in the yard behind the former church and below, after several additions and renovations, boasting a historical marker from the Texas Historical Commission.
From its humble start as a three-room school, I.C.S. has grown to include Montessori three year olds through eighth grade. Through many changes, there has been consistency in bringing excellent religious education and outstanding academics and extracurricular activities to its students for more than 120 years.
