Because we find that ed tech students are exposed to more Wimba features in UTB Blackboard, after the first meeting we move courses over to the UTB interface. In some cases, we will meet as a class, and in other cases, we will meet with other classes in order to meet guest speakers. The announcements in UTB Blackboard will alert you to the appropriate room for the evening.
Step 1: Going to UTB BlackBoard
Once there, log in to your account by entering your username and password. This might be a good time to enter your login information in your Password Log or some other location in case you forget the information.

If you are uncertain about your login information or this is the first time you have logged in to the UTB BlackBoard, follow the directions below the login area to determine your username and password as indicated in the screenshot below.
The email address for the Help Desk in infoshop@utb.edu and the email for the Help Desk is infoshop@utb.edu.

Step 2: Navigating Your UTB Interface
Once you have logged in, look in the middle column for Organizations in which you are participating:
Find the organization Edtech_Town_Hall. This organization will contain all of your Wimba rooms. Click on the link.

Yes, indeed, we move around a lot. Although instructors try to inform everyone about the meeting locale by email - alas, sometimes it does not work. Or you have several hunderd messages to siphon through to find out which one is about time and locale of Wimba.
The UTB Wimba rooms allow us to post the meeting room on the announcements page. You can then navigate to the room manually or just click on the link that is appropriate to your course. So, once you get to the Announcements, look for your room information. When possible, I will indicate course by your course's CyberScorpion.

Hear you all there!
